World War 2 era heavy-duty porcelain handle-less Navy watchman's mug recently found near the mouth of Pearl Harbor, likely tossed overboard by a sailor or soldier. Made by Smith Taylor. 3.5-in height by 3.75-in width, and 1 lb 1 oz weight. Great condition despite being submerged in the harbor for up to 80 years. Small chip on bottom rim. The mug carries significance as a military artifact from the home front of the United States during that time period, making it a valuable addition to any collection related to the war.
