Authentic U.S. Army woodland camouflage cold weather BDU patrol cap with fold-down ear flaps, Special Forces tab, Sergeant rank insignia, and two additional rank insignia pins stored inside the ear flaps.
This cap comes directly from the estate of Sergeant Major Robert Taylor, who served more than three decades in the U.S. Army, primarily during the Cold War with the 11th Special Forces Group (Airborne) before retiring in 1997.
While I cannot verify when this specific cap was worn, it was acquired with his documented military effects and has estate provenance.
Unlike many surplus examples, this cap shows extensive honest field use, including fading, fraying, repairs, and wear throughout the brim and crown. The condition reflects years of military service and gives the piece outstanding character.
Features:

- Fold-down ear flaps with original buttons
