Set of three SMALL Vintage African hand-decorated Calabash gourd vessels
Each natural gourd has been hollowed and decorated by hand with incised/pyrographic designs, including stylized human figures, a hunter/archer, animals/cattle and geometric imagery. Natural fiber/raffia is tied around the necks.
All three bear a matching geometric mark on the underside, suggesting they originated from the same artist or workshop. Additional hand-inscribed “500” markings appear near the bases.
Likely late 20th century, approximately 1970s–1990s. Exact African country/ethnic attribution and maker are unknown, so they are being listed conservatively as African folk art rather than assigning an unverified origin.
