* El Camino RealMission Santa Barbara was established in 1786 in Santa Barbara, California. Following the destruction of its early adobe structures during an earthquake, the current stone church was constructed and completed in 1820.A severe earthquake in 1925 heavily damaged the property, causing portions of the church facade and bell towers to collapse. Subsequent restoration reinforced the exterior structure with steel and concrete, while the interior sanctuary and main altar have largely retained their 1820 appearance.Unlike other regional missions, Santa Barbara is the only facility to remain under continuous administration by the Franciscan friars since its founding.Shipping and Handling:
