This is a very interesting set of Chinese rice bowls, but could also be soup bowls. They are clearly marked on the bottom LILING, which is the part of China they were made in. They are mid 20th century vintage probably sometime in the 60s, maybe the 70s.
What’s beautiful about the set of eight is that there is a pink peony
on each bowl to repeating design and in between the pink peonies are Chinese symbols that represent four seasons, including long life good luck and eyes.
There is absolutely no damage even the gold trim is intact. These bowls measure about 4 1/2 inches in diameter and 2 1/2 inches tall and each one is identical in regard to the design and the condition. Also, if you check this design and this company, you will see that they’re selling one of these rice bowls for $15-$25 apiece, so I’m offering this entire set at a really good price.
Please view all the photos if you have any questions, I’ll be happy to help, thank you!
