Rare Vintage CARVEL HALL Signed Chesapeake Stabber Oyster Shucking Knife

Very rare Early Carvel Hall Chesapeake \"stabber\" oyster shucking knife.

Signed on the handle.

Great patina. It could be polished to a high shine but to me that takes away from the history and probably tens or hundreds of thousands of oysters that were shocked with this knife.

The company was in Crisfield Maryland on the Chesapeake bay and stopped making knives for the oyster fishery decades ago.

Condition is as shown in the pictures.
