Fascinating original World War I era photograph showing civilians gathered around a large armored military vehicle/tank on public display. Visible painted lettering appears to read “Captured British Army” (or similar), suggesting a wartime propaganda or exhibition display. Reverse bears Paris photographer stamp H. Laugier, Paris and handwritten note: “Captured By Dutch Aug 8-18.”
A compelling historical image with military, propaganda, and wartime crowd-scene interest.
