Here up for grabs is an unusual locality from the famous Butte district. I have only ever seen a tiny handful of specimens from this mine in the northern part of the Butte district. The specimen contains galena, sphalerite, pyrite and polybasite in that order of abundance. There is also a thin veinlet of rhodochrosite cutting across the quartz on the back side of the specimen. You can see part of the rhodochrosite veinlet in the 3rd photo. One side of the specimen has been cut to better show the beautiful texture of this silver ore specimen. Very rare locality that was reclaimed long ago!
