Rare Vintage Old Woman Who Lived In A Shoe, Rock A Bye Ryhmes, Musical Ceramic Figurine Featuring Goofy, Pluto, Baby Mickey, and Baby Minnie. Yes, it still works and sounds great! This is a very rare piece. You can’t find it anywhere. If you do, let me know, because I’ve tried everything. I even used AI to run it through multiple platforms and looked up park history and cannot find a whole lot of information about this specific piece. The only piece of information I found on this figurine is that Schmid manufactured the “Rock A Bye Baby Ryhmes” line. Apparently, the most recent sell of this specific figurine was in 2022 for $45. However, it was stamped “Disney Japan.” Mine is stamped “Disney Malaysia.”AI tells me that due to high rising manufacturing cost, Scmid opened up a production line in Sri Lanka and Malaysia in the late 80s early 90s. They didn’t open the Malaysian production line until they almost went out of business. Because of this, the Malaysian production on this specific piece is very limited. It’s more than just a piece, it signifies as an end of an era, a generational one at that. As far as I’m concerned, this piece is the only one in the world that’s stamped “Disney Malaysia” in existence. Again, if you can’t find another one that’s stamped Disney Malaysia please let me know.
