Just like to note that this is much nicer in person than we were able to capture in photo.
For the serious wine or whisky collector, a beautiful 19th Century hard wood whiskey/wine barrel bung hole stopper/plug, in aged dark brown. It\'s initialed W.A.E on the top.
Was W.A.E an eccentric man making his own signature whisky, known amongst his gentlemen friends? Or was he the head of a brand of the time? That\'s part of this lovely mystery we have on our hands here.
This little treasure of time would now make as a unique paperweight, or be displayed amongst the treasures of your drink room, study, or man-cave... A great gift to one who likes to swirl the glass before every sip.
