Owatonna Tool Company (OTC) :
SS Series: Heavy-Duty Square Shank Screwdrivers
The "SS" prefix designates Square Shank Mechanics Screwdrivers. The square shaft allows you to attach an open-end wrench to the steel shank to leverage extra mechanical turning torque
* OTC SS-121 (21-1/4" Massive Driver): This is the marquee piece of the group. Its extreme length and heavy square shank make it highly sought after by vintage tractor, diesel, and heavy equipment mechanics.
* OTC SS-123 (17" Long Driver): Another oversized specialty driver that commands a premium over standard tool chest sizes.
* OTC SS-124 (12-1/4" Driver): A solid, highly usable mid-to-large size mechanic's driver.
* OTC SS-81 (13-3/4" Driver): Excellent utility value due to the combination of a long reach and a thick flathead tip.
* OTC SS-83 (9-1/4" Driver): The most common size of the group, functioning as a standard-duty shop driver.
* Handle Integrity: The amber and deep orange acetate handles do not show the typical hammer-shattered ends or deep chunks missing that usually plague old garage screwdrivers.
