There was a typed piece of paper glued to the back that has come unglued over the years but is included with the photo.it says:SURGING FROM THE RUMWAY with the thrust of 6 rockets added to it's normal 14,000 horsepower, the United States Navy's Lockheed Constitution takes off on a experimental flight designed to test the effect of rocket JATO use on large aircraft. Test's conducted with the giant 180-passenger ship have shown that rockets shorten takeoff run by approximately 20 percent. Lockheed engineers say that use of JATO rockets on large transports would add an extra safety factor in the event of sudden power failures during takeoff.H-8100 H-9104 H-9103 H-9285This photo is stamped H9103.This is a must have for any collector.Thank you for looking.
