As the pics show, the velvet cover is intact, with all hardware present, but the material is very faded. You can compare the extent of this damage by looking at the same velvet material within the album. The hardware appears to be brass and may be restored to its previous beauty. The mirror on the cover is in good antique condition, but the inner mirror shows some loss of the mirrored coating. There is also some separation of the spine that needs repair and several of the photo holders have been torn.
However, these defects are all reparable as the underlying structure is sound. We have adjusted the asking price lower than the average accordingly.
