Original WWII-era U.S. Army Air Forces officer\'s uniform; belonged to my grandfather, Captain Lewis Jacobs, a physician in the Medical Corps stationed at Keesler Field in Biloxi, Mississippi.It is a khaki/tan four-pocket officer\'s summer service coat dating approximately to 1943–1945. The coat features Captain\'s double sleeve braid, original gilt U.S. eagle buttons, shoulder epaulettes and an original Army Air Forces/Air Corps insignia pin.This is an original family-owned WWII uniform, not a reproduction.
