A Kiddush wine fountain is a Jewish ceremonial item used for serving wine or grape juice during Shabbat and other holidays. The fountain is designed to distribute the blessed wine from a large central cup into multiple smaller cups for family and guests.

How it Works

• A blessing is recited over the wine in the large central cup at the top.

• The blessed wine is then poured into the fountain's central vessel.

• The wine flows through hidden pipes and cascades into the smaller cups arranged around the base.

This serves as a way to share the blessed wine hygienically with a group of people,as an alternative to passing a single cup around. The fountains are often made of materials such as sterling silver, silver plating, or anodized aluminum and are decorated with traditional motifs, such as grapevines.
