Margaret Tobin "Molly" Brown,(1867-1932) was a Denver Socialite and Philanthropist during the guilded age.
But this woman was so much more than a socialite.
She was a survivor of the RMS Titanic, whichsank in 1912, and she unsuccessfully urged the crew inLifeboat # 6to return to the debris field to look for survivors.
Molly was a leader in the Suffragist movement. In 1914 she became the first woman to run for the US Senate.
