This diverse lot features a wonderful variety of 19th-century subjects, including formal wedding couples in period attire, family groupings, children's portraits, individual sittings, and unique novelty/milestone imagery. The card backs are blank, keeping the focus entirely on the striking historical portraits, rich textures of Victorian fashion, and classic studio aesthetics.
Condition:
Antique condition. These cards were recently and carefully removed from a vintage album due to compromised album materials. The cards themselves are generally well-preserved with clear, legible imagery on the fronts, though expect minor age toning, edge wear, or light surface marks consistent with 19th-century paper ephemera. Please review all photos for a closer look at the exact lot included.
