This listing consists of an original vintage lot of 17 black-and-white snapshot photographs capturing summer visits to Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York, dated June 1951. The collection highlights various classic amusement park attractions and carnival rides of the era, including motorized boat rides, carousel horses, kiddie car tracks, and park structures. Several photos feature handwritten annotations on the reverse side specifying June 1951 at Coney Island along with photo finishing numbers.
The photographs feature classic 1950s deckle/scalloped edges. Some photos retain black paper photo mounting corners on the edges and corners from a period scrapbooking album, alongside light handling wear, edge curling, and minor surface marks consistent with age. This authentic 1950s NYC ephemera lot is ideal for amusement park historians, New York City collectors, scrapbooking, or framing.
