Lot062
Authentic, vintage Limoges France hinged porcelain trinket box featuring a festive, hand-painted scene of Santa Claus riding in a snowy blue sleigh packed with holiday gifts. This piece was commissioned for the luxury retailer Eximious and features the correct, authentic hallmark script on the underside: \"Peint main Limoges France Eximious\". It stands roughly 2.5 to 3 inches tall and is equipped with a classic brass hinge mechanism that opens and closes securely. BONUS ACCESSORY INCLUDED: Unlike many secondhand listings, this box completely retains its original loose interior surprise element—a miniature hand-painted orange/pink porcelain present box.CONDITION & FLAWS:
Please review all photos carefully before buying. This item shows signs of paint wear, surface distressing, and rubbing to the exterior enamel finish from age and previous handling, most notably along the snow-stippled base runners and edges. There are no structural chips, cracks, or repairs to the porcelain body itself, and the hinge functions perfectly. Priced accurately according to its vintage, well-loved cosmetic condition. Perfect entry point for a holiday display or a budget-friendly addition to a French porcelain collection! Shipped safely and securely with padding.
