French Sevres-style cobalt blue porcelain urn with ornate bronze-tone mounts and decorative handles.
This piece was acquired from an estate sale and is being offered as found. The urn features a rich cobalt blue glazed body with elaborate metal mounts, floral garland decoration, scroll handles, and decorative feet.
Sold as an unmarked Sèvres-style decorative urn. No maker's marks were found during inspection. Please review all photos carefully and make your own determination regarding age, origin, and materials.
Condition:
Pre-owned vintage/antique condition consistent with age and use. The porcelain presents well with a glossy cobalt finish. Metal mounts show age-related wear and patina. One side has some looseness to the mounted components. The piece displays a slight lean when viewed from certain angles but remains stable when placed on a flat surface. The base has a pre-drilled center hole, as shown in the photos. The exact purpose is unknown, but it may relate to a prior mounting or conversion.
