Beautiful 3-D porcelain Tavern Scene Sculpture “Beer Break” couple at a bar
This is an absolutely beautiful ceramic or porcelain table sculpture with exceptional hand painted detailing. It shows a man and a woman which appear to be cleaning a bar after (or before) a party, and looks like they are taking a break from their work with a mug of foamy beer., and a little flirting conversation.:)). The cleaning bar-tenders”:))
The bar has a beautiful mirror in the back, two lanterns at the top corners which have metallic gold trim on them. Beautifully carved intricate details around the framed mirror.
There is a little white kitty cat playing along at the bottom of the bar.
The whole piece measures about 10-1/2” tall, 7-1/2” side to side, and about 4.5” from back to front.
Excellent overall vintage condition. No major cracks or chips. Just a few tiny dings in a few spots., barely visible. One tiny little crack at the side of the bottom base. Please see all the photos.
It is unbranded so I don’t know who made it. It looks to be very RARE, because I cannot find another one like this anywhere on line.
Thanks for looking. If anyone could identify this piece for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
