Next-generation wet weather jacket made by Recon Company in Germany to the specifications of the Bundeswehr and its KSK EGB special forces. For those who know, this is NOT the common 1990s Sympatex Flecktarn rain jacket that you regularly see at your surplus store.
This jacket is oversized to slip over your helmet, plate carrier, duty uniform, etc. It is jam-packed with features like mesh in the hood to preserve your hearing, ports on the upper chest to route your comms cables, hook and loop on both upper sleeves, and a longer cut in the back to protect your behind. Its most distinctive feature is a large zipped kangaroo pocket that allows you to quickly access your plate carrier or belt. Includes a single interior mesh pouch for incidentals. Ventilation is managed through opening the kangaroo pouch and through a horizontal vent in the back.
Measures about 31” pit to pit; this is oversized to fit over your loaded plate carrier. Has an adjustable draw cord at the waist hem.
