The famous Fawcett inverted black triangle is characteristic of the earliest issues in a series. Only the first three of this series got the triangle on the cover.
A dynamic action coverfeatures Commander Don Winslow capturing a falling knife-wielding Japanese pilot above his ship hanging from the radar(?) antenna. The Japanese pilot wasbailing out to attack the ship in person as his plane was going down in flames!
A full-color 68-page book. This classic WWII themed mid-grade book has the rare and sought-after WHITE PAGES. Amazing for a book over 75 years old! Overall, it is clean, very attractive and reasonably priced.
