The base of this piece is a large single crystal of golden brown calcite. If one looks closely, it may even be a twinned crystal. Up on top, we see a tower of smaller stacked crystals, rising to a small, flat cleavage plane. The back of the piece is all a flat plane showing bi-color characteristics.
