Authentic 1990s Montblanc Meisterstück 149 "The Flagship Diplomat" (18K Tri-Color Broad B Nib with StOD Hallmark & Hemingway-Style Feed)
An outstanding, highly sought-after transitional early-1990s Montblanc Meisterstück No. 149 "The Flagship Diplomat" fountain pen, factory-equipped with a rare French-market 18K (750) Tri-Color Broad (B) nib bearing the prestigious "StOD" hallmark and the revered Hemingway-style feed.
The early 1990s represents a vital transitional chapter for the Diplomat. This rare variation combines the rich capillary delivery of the iconic flat-faced feed (famously shared with the 1992 Writers Edition Hemingway) with the luxurious elasticity of a French-export 18K tri-color nib and heavy-duty brass piston internals.
