This exceptionally rare 1920s Art Deco YZ Nutbird perpetual desk calendar—attributed to Henry Howell & Co. during the coveted Dunhill retail era—is in museum-grade, fully functional condition. Measuring 6.5” L x 1.75” W x 3.75” H, the whimsical kiwi-like figure features an authentic coquilla nut body with the textured reverse intact, clear inset glass taxidermy eyes, a vibrant green Erinoid plastic beak, and delicate carved horn feet that remain completely unbroken. The manual flip-date mechanism is fully intact with its original, vintage-aged paper calendar card inserts, and the base retains its original green protective felt bottom. A spectacular, collector-tier desktop antiquity showing only beautiful, age-authentic patina and zero structural damage.
