Archie Series No. 123, November 1961, 10 cents on the cover, with the Comics Code Authority stamp in the upper right. This is the well known science fiction cover: a tall scaly alien with enormous ears standing in front of a landed flying saucer, holding its jaw and asking Archie, Do you know where I can find a good dentist? Archie recoils in his plaid trousers on the right. It is one of the Archie covers that sells to UFO and science fiction cover collectors as much as to Archie readers.
Condition is a solid reading copy rather than a collector grade book. The cover shows spine stress and creasing, blunted corners, surface wrinkling along the lower edge, and a crease with a small separation at the lower left corner. Colors are still bright and there is no writing or missing cover area visible. Interior pages were not photographed and are not graded. Our best estimate from the front cover alone is the Good to Very Good range, roughly 3.0 to 4.0, but it is sold raw and ungraded and the photographs are the description.
