Not just a photograph! This plaque is made of laser-etched, metal-look material to resemble the original. The surface looks like real brushed metal. Relive the glorious days when Americans first landed on the moon - July 20, 2019 was the 50th anniversary of this great event.
The original plaque was attached to the leg of the Lunar Lander "Eagle," and is still on the Moon, at the Sea of Tranquility (Tranquility Base).
Plaque reads, "Here men from the Planet Earth first set foot upon the Moon, July 1969, A.D. We came in peace for all mankind."
Has the signatures of Neil Armstrong, Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin, and Michael Collins, the three astronauts who went to the Moon, and the signature of Richard Nixon, then President of the United States.
The Eagle has landed on your wall! (Astronauts, craters, flag, and Lunar Module not included!)
