This is a set of antique or perhaps just vintage metal Japanese temple/shrine bells. These make a beautiful full bodied sound when rung. I\'m unsure what type of metal it is. It looks like bronze but isn\'t quite heavy enough, so perhaps just brass? The paint is pretty worn but the bells are in nice condition as well as the rope used to hang the bells. The largest bell\'s diameter is approximately 5\" and the smallest bell is approximately 3\".
