Antique c1920s Nooksack/Coast Salish Miniature Covered Basket Thunderbird Note
Beautiful antique miniature covered basket featuring extremely fine, tight weaving, a fitted woven lid with knob, and a striking dark brown and red bird/Thunderbird design around the body.
An original handwritten identification/appraisal note accompanied this basket in the collector's estate and will be included with the sale. The note identifies the basket as 1920s, “Thunderbird,” “Nooksack,” and records an appraisal of $300–$400 dated 11/07.
