This 1930-1950 era white basketweave ceramic planter is decorated with colorful fruit in an Italian Capodimonte Majolica style. Made in Japan, it measures 8.5” x 4” x 3”, and is suitable as a planter, vase, or a catch all. It would really shine as a place to hide the kitchen sponge & scrubby or hold your sunglasses & keys, by the door. It is in very good condition but shows some signs of wear to the glaze which is consistent with age and use. It has NO crazing, cracks, chips or repairs & is solid & water tight. Original manufacturer’s sticker is still attached. This would make a fun gift for anyone who appreciates a vintage look in home decor.
