Made from 3/4"walnut, this bank measures approximately 5" wide by 6 1/4" tall by 4 1/2" deep. The door mounted on the bank was manufactured in the early 1950's.The door is made of a heavy brass. This is somewhat rare because of the slot in the door. The numbers are all original and will vary from bank to bank. The dual dial lock is the easiest combination to open as there is no left, right, left, just place the dial on the letters of the combination and slide the opening latch to theright. And of course, the combinationcomes with the bank. If you have any questions or concerns about the quality of my banks, please check out my response. You can see more banksby visiting my store. Be sure to check out my other sales. As with all of my banks, the woodworking is new and the doors are used and will show some signs of wear.
I was told these doors came from Georgia Tech.
