An authentic antique copper and brass kerosene font and burner assembly manufactured by the Cleveland Metal Products Co. Designed as a drop-in tank font for historical heaters, this piece features a heavy solid copper lower reservoir tank paired with beautiful ornate brass detailing along the upper collar. Notably, the upper brass trim is explicitly stamped with \"USE ONLY NO. 500 PERFECTION WICK\" alongside a prominent \"21\" model casting. A highly collectible piece of early 20th-century American industrial history, perfect for restoration or display.
Overall Status: Good antique condition with a completely untouched original patina; absolutely no restoration or cleaning attempts have been made beyond a light wipe down to locate markings and identifiers.
Mechanical Function: The decorative turn knob rolls smoothly, and the fuel level dial pointer turns freely.
Components: The screw-in filler cap has some vintage build-up along the threads but still threads securely in and out. The original one-piece wire carrying handle remains fully intact. The magnetic top fill lid functions exactly as intended.
Interior & Wick: The installed wick appears to have sat unused for decades. The interior of the tank is dry but contains flake residue and retains a distinct vintage kerosene scent.
Manufacturer: Cleveland Metal Products Co.
Model / Compatibility Markings: No. 21 / Fits Perfection No. 500 Wick System
Material: Solid copper reservoir tank, brass upper font collar, and magnetic metal top lid
