Antique Lux Clock. Rabbit Nursery Rhyme scene 1930's. The Lux Rabbit clock often styled as the juvenile or nursery rhyme wall clock, was produced by the Lux Clock Manufacturing Co, in NY, around 1927 to 1930. The clock is molded from a wood-pulp compound called Syroco decorated with colorful nursery rhyme and rabbit scenes.
I do not know if the clock works, and I do not have the Wind-Up Key. It's a mechanical wind-up clock. There is a good amount of cracking and chippping of paint loss on the edges of the clock. On the rabbits I show close-up pictures of how each looks with the damages.
It is a unique and lovely clock to hang on the wall.
Measures: 9.5" in diameter. With originial metal hour, and minute hands.
