Authentic antique handwritten French document dating from the late 19th century.
This historical document was acquired as part of a collection of antique paper ephemera sourced mainly from flea markets and antique markets in France.
The document is handwritten in French and features several interesting period details, including an official French revenue/fiscal stamp marked “TIMBRE 50” and “2/10 EN SUS,” an additional blue fiscal/revenue stamp, embossed seals, official markings, signatures, and handwritten notations.
Dates including 1879 and 1882 can be seen within the handwritten text. These may refer to registrations, transactions, or earlier records mentioned in the document, so the exact date of creation has not been confirmed.
A wonderful original piece of 19th-century French ephemera suitable for collectors of antique manuscripts, historical documents, revenue stamps, fiscal paper, calligraphy, and French history.
