Offered is an antique L.T. Piver Paris "Floramye" Soap box from early 20th century featuring an exquisite Art Nouveau lithographed design with purple orchids & iris motifs. Brand/maker: L.T. Piver, an historic French perfume & cosmetics house established in Paris, France. "Floramye" a famous fragrance introduced by L.T. Piver around 1905. Classic Art Nouveau packaging decorated with embossed purple flowers, foliage, & decorative bubble design.
The colors are strong & the condition is very nice. On the far right corner of the lid there is an old tear that someone did a nice job of fixing. There are light old stains on the lid & there is an old stain on the bottom outside(see photo 5). The box is 8" long, 3 1/2" wide, 2" high. The photos were taken outside & they are too bright, should have been taken inside.
I bought this years ago & packed it away, just recently finding it.
