Up for sale is a beautiful piece of authentic American Arts & Crafts history: an original antique pyrography (wood-burned) oval panel manufactured by the famous Flemish Art Company of New York.
The front features a finely detailed, hand-rendered wood-burning design of three hunting dogs in collars and leashes, framed inside an elegant oval border with stylized Art Nouveau accents.
The back features the highly collectible, original stamped hallmark showing the company's iconic double-bear crest, reading: "Flemish Art Co. Trade Mark / Flemish Quality / 318 / Standard / New York". This specific model number (318) was historically cataloged as a decorative dog tie rack plaque
