This elegant glazed ceramic pot is incredibly beautiful and extremely unusual - Best of the best- very fine detailing and elegant brushwork. Rich paint colors and design.

A traditional coiled pot shape with small ridges on the surface to give a realistic woven-grass coiled pot look

4 large hand painted llamas, each different, very expressive, represent the 4 directions

Thisis a HEAVY Piece- one of a kind. Possibly made in Peru or Chile. Difficult to be certain.

Stamped/embossed with 4 numbers [8620?] and a maker\'s mark on underside which are unreadable

Excellent antique condition, No chips nicks cracks scratches or damage other than a few minor flakes to top coat of shiny glaze, normal for being 100 years old and extremely minor/ hard to notice. Small amount of shelf rub to glaze on underside, not visible unless pot is turned upside down. See last 3 pics. No breaks, no repairs. No chips to inner rim. Glaze in beautiful condition, no fading, a small amount of very minor surface crazing which is extremely faint throughout, adds to the charm. See all pics and use zoom
