This is a good looking Edward Miller kerosine hanging lamp that stands upright now. It has patent date on font of July 1887 and a name but I couldn’t read it. Burner cap has Edward Miller cap and design of the lamp fits. The wick is still in tact and it appears to work but I can’t be sure. You can’t really tell that the hanging wire is no longer attached. I think it looks better this way, but… The patina on the lamp is very very nice. It is brass and sturdy with nice wide frosted chimney. Overall this is a great little kerosene lamp for 139 yrs old. A great conversation piece and addition to any collection.
