1900 -1930 Antique Chinese Yixing red clay (zhusha) tea pot vessel set
Featuring a pewter overlay and export markings from Wei Hai Wei (Port Edward) dating to the early 20th century.
The 4-Piece Set Composition
Tall Pitcher / Hot Water Jug: 6x6\" Fitted with a high-mounted pouring handle and stylized neck.
Lidded Sugar Basin: 4.5x4.5\" Equipped with dual red-clay loop handles flanking the rounded sides.
Bulbous Teapot: 7x5\" The low-profile main brewing pot features a double swing handle
Milk Jug / Creamer: 6x3.5\" Smaller vessel designed with a classic loop handle and pouring spout.
Material & Design: Red Yixing stoneware base encapsulated in a decorative pewter cladding, commonly depicting traditional dragons or bats
Markings: The base features an artisan seal stamp alongside a retailer or export label referencing \"Hsin Ho Ch\'eng, Port Edward (Wei Hai Wei)\".
Origin: Produced for the international or colonial export market during the late Qing dynasty or Republic period
Condition Pewter is aged with petina and some roughness please look at pictures closely
There has been an old repair on the sugar bowl handle, Please Look at pictures
Not sure about the top of the teapot. It looks like the small metal ball has been replaced. Please look a pictures .
