1892 Ansonia Dresden Royal Bonn Porcelain Mantel Clock – Excellent Working Condition with Key & Pendulum

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible piece of 1890s American and German horological history.

This clock features Ansonia's famous "Dresden" model porcelain case, which was custom-crafted and imported from the world-renowned Franz Anton Mehlem Royal Bonn factory in Bonn, Germany.

This particular model was manufactured expressly as a high-end corporate premium incentive item for

The American Wringer Company 99 Chambers Street, New York.

The back of the case bears the crisp, complete corporate stamp alongside the hand-painted artisan design number 2011.

Movement: Original brass 8-day mechanical movement, cleanly stamped "Ansonia Clock Co, New York" with its June 18, 1882 patent date.

Porcelain has no chips, cracks,, mild grazing

Clock face has small darkened area near key holes , winds easily, chimes every 1/2 hour an hour.

Excellent Antique Condition!
