Antique membership dues booklet (“Książka Kwitowa”), Group No. 105, Polish Women’s Alliance of America (Związek Polek w Ameryce), belonging to a member surnamed Marcinkiewicz, of Larksville, PA (Plymouth Twp., Luzerne County). Entirely in Polish, with the Alliance’s oval seal on the inner cover.
Contains handwritten ledger entries tracking monthly dues payments from roughly 1936 to 1940, with entries for society dues, insurance-related fees, and secretary signatures each period.
Excellent piece of Polish-American immigrant and fraternal-society history from Pennsylvania’s coal region — meaningful for genealogists researching Polish families in Luzerne County, as well as collectors of ethnic fraternal organization ephemera.
Condition: black cloth cover with wear at spine/corners, booklet pages show handling wear, ink smudging/staining on a couple of interior pages — see photos for full detail. Fully legible throughout.
