Welcome! A charming, antique 1920s paper Valentine. This is a fun and unique one, with the girl holding her clown doll and cat, along with the floral and leaf details. It’s been used and has a name written in pencil on the back. Offering free USPS Ground Advantage Shipping!
Please note, around the inner heart frame, is paper creasing, it’s not a flaw, rather a design choice. There is a few paper tears, along the top, Inside frame of the heart, near her head. The Valentine’s in gently used condition, the main flaw, is the ribbon has torn, due to age. It’s a larger Valentine, measuring at 8” 3/4 tall by 5” 7/8 wide. The loose ribbon, with some fraying, measures 4” 7/8 long.
There’s no markings unfortunately, but most likely made in the U.S. or Europe. The colors on the litho are still bright, for being over 100 years old. This displays wonderfully, and makes a great addition to your antique Valentine ephemera collection. Thanks for your consideration!
