Beautiful , completely matched antique pair of "End of the Trail" bookends manufactured by Ronson Art Metal Works (Model #11478) in Newark, NJ, dating to circa 1925–1930.
Inspired by James Earle Fraser's famous 1894 sculpture, these are heavy cast metal pieces featuring an authentic, factory-original dark bronze/black lacquer finish.
Condition Highlights:
• Excellent vintage condition with minimal surface wear or rubbing along the base edges.
• Includes the original green felt bottoms.
• One bookend completely retains its rare, original red and gold "Ronson Metal Art Wares" factory paper label.
