GRADING CRITERIA

MacLiquidation sells a range of products that can come in a variety of cosmeticconditions. Please refer to our detailedexplanation of product grading scale below.

New: This is a newsealed item that is completely intact with no seals broken. There may be stickers on the outside of thepackaging.

Open Box: This is a new open box item that has not beenused. Item will be fully functional andinclude all required parts and/or accessories.

Refurbished \"A\" Grade: Our highest cosmeticgrade with only a few minor cosmetic defects. System is fully tested andfunctional. Product can be considered in “like new” or “new open box”condition.

Minor Wear \"B\" Grade: Fully tested andfunctional, just like the A Grade, but will have minor visible blemishes and isdiscounted accordingly. These could include slight scratches & scuffs, wearon the buttons and/or minor screen scratches. Any minor scratches & scuffswill be less than 2\" long and any minor dent or hairline crack will beless than 1/2 inch and will not affect the functionality of the system.

Scratch & Dent \"C\" Grade: Has more minorscratches, scuffs, dents, cracks than a B grade system and/or moderate to majorcosmetic defects. This can include paint removed on the body or work surface,missing or broken bezels, missing plastic parts, broken latches and hinges andstains that are permanent including paint, stickers and ink. If the product hasan LCD there could be less than 3 minor small scratches and 2-3 bad pixels. Cgrade products are discounted accordantly, fully tested and functional.
