This is a fantastic survivor from the golden age of Chicago brewing. This vintage T-handle advertising corkscrew features a stamped wooden handle for the Peter Schoenhofen Brewing Company and their flagship Edelweiss beer.
In the late 19th century, before crown caps were the standard, many beer bottles were sealed with corks. This was a classic promotional giveaway for a \"Case of Good Judgment\" - the famous Schoenhofen slogan.
