The Midwest 5-Gallon Auto Shut-Off Gas Can is the perfect solution for safely storing, transporting, and dispensing gasoline, automotive, outdoor power equipment, lawnmowers, weed trimmers, chainsaws, leaf blowers and perfect for lawn & garden projects. Each container is equipped with our FlameShield Safety System, designed to address safety concerns with fuel storage. This two-piece system offers extra protection against accidental fires. The first part is an internal flame mitigation device, tested to reduce injury risk when near fire or sparks. It helps prevent flame jetting or combustion if exposed to fire or sparks. The second part is the vapor-locking Quick-Flow Spout, which features an automatic closing mechanism for safer, more efficient use. It also pours up to 2.5X faster, with an auto shutoff to prevent overfilling and spills. The closing valve ensures a tight seal, preventing leaks and ensuring smooth fuel transfer. Made from durable HDPE , our container meets Air Resources Board (CARB) and EPA standards, reducing hydrocarbon emissions and resisting cracking for long-lasting use. Its wide base and low center of gravity reduce the chance of tipping, and the two ergonomic handles make it easy to carry and pour.
