This sale is for a lot of four vintage Kano Laboratories Aero Kroil "The Oil That Creeps ... and loosens frozen metal parts" spray cans that were my uncle's.
We believe these date from the late 1950s or 1960s. They have the brand name Aero Kroil to tout that they had the new technology of being aerosol cans; the name later evolved to just Kroil, when aerosol cans became the industry standard. All are 12 ounce cans. Two have metal tops; one red and one black. The other two will be shipped with plastic caps on them that are not original.
These cans are after 1950, because they list a Tennessee address on them and that is the year that Kano Labs moved to Nashville, Tennessee. The one with the red cap on the far left lists the address as Nashville 11, so it is pre-ZIP Code. The second one from the left has a red plastic tube taped to it. The third one from the left also has tape on it. The one on the right side also has tape on it, as well as some silver paint overspray. All are used, but still spray. There is no way to tell for sure, but the the one on the far right has the most still in it, perhaps close to full; the two with the metal caps have less, perhaps half full; the second one from the left has the least, perhaps a quarter full.
