1989 CASE XX TESTED CENTENNIAL R6392 SS RED BONE PREMIUM STOCKMAN

This is a beautiful 1989 Case XX Tested Centennial three-blade Premium Stockman, pattern R6392 SS, measuring 3 7/8 inches closed.
The substantial 92 pattern is one of Case’s classic Premium Stockman frames, distinguished by its broad profile and handsome square nickel-silver bolsters.
Produced to commemorate Case’s 100th anniversary, this example features a prominent “CASE XX TESTED CENTENNIAL 1889–1989” master-blade etch, a distinctive Case shield, and an engraved centennial bolster numbered 107.
This individually numbered knife originally formed part of one of only 500 complete 100-knife Case Tested Centennial Mint Sets produced in 1989. The matching set number engraved on this example is 107.
The genuine jigged-bone handles are especially attractive, displaying gorgeous, rich red coloration with lighter highlights that bring out the depth and character of the jigging. Both handles are free of chips and cracks.
This is a crisp collector-grade example. All three stainless-steel blades retain their factory edges and bright finish, while the centennial master-blade etch remains bold, complete and clearly defined. The inside liners show some minor, light patina.
All three blades have good opening and closing snap, no wobble and strong overall mechanics. The blades do not have half-stops.
The knife shows only a few light handling and storage marks on its highly polished surfaces. These minor marks are most noticeable under close inspection and strong photographic lighting and do not detract from the knife’s exceptionally clean overall presentation.
The knife is offered by itself without its original box or paperwork.
This is a strong example of the desirable square-bolstered 92 Premium Stockman, combining gorgeous red bone, factory-edged blades, a bold commemorative etch, unique shield and bolster.
