This large display measures 16 x 17 inches and has a lower flap where the Toni sign would have been inserted in a box for display.

Condition: Break at left shoulder, but still barely attached at the back. Shows some light edge wear, slight crease at bottom right corners. Retains excellent color, strong surface and graphics—ideal for mid-century beauty collectors or retro salon decor.


History: Toni was one of the top names in home permanent waves after World War II, producing some of the most iconic beauty advertising of the era. These die-cut display pieces were used in drugstores and five-and-dime shops to promote Toni's new permanent kits, and most were discarded after use, making originals harder to find today. A charming and display-worthy example of 1950s cosmetic advertising.
